Changes in appetite, gait or behaviour can be the first clue. Knowing what to watch for makes all the difference.
What we do in practice
We know each dog's normal: how they eat, how they move, how much they sleep. That's what lets us notice early when something changes. Regular check-ups, genetic tests and a good vaccine record are part of the routine.
This article doesn't replace your vet. If you notice something odd, call them. One visit too many beats one too few.
